Most people who
look old feel old, but not Stephen
Jepson. Our 72-year old man is a living inspiration for all people, young and
old, because his story will change that way you think about aging!
What makes
Jepson different from other people is his amazing strength and agility despite
of his old age. When most elders of his age lie in the bed all day or can’t
even manage to move because they feel weak, Jepson refuses to let his age get
in the way for doing amazing things.
This
high-spirited man’s energy never seems to run out. He spends his day riding his
elliptical bike, throwing knives, swimming on Olympic-sized pool, walking on
ropes and many more thrilling activities. According to him, he believes that
the key to having a long life is to never stop playing.
In his personal
website neverleavetheplayground.com, he
shares his story of getting fit and feeling young.
“No matter how impaired the body has become through
neglect or disease or aging, consistent movement is imperative to regain and
maintain balance, stability, coordination and growth.” Jepson said wherein he identifies the process as ‘age-proofing the brain and the body’.
According to his
YouTube channel, ‘Never Leave the
Playground (videos) is a program of activities that stimulates the growth of
the brain and body by specific training of the hands and feet. My method has
two goals: to promote good health and to have fun.’
Jepson is truly
a proof of the old-philosophical saying,
“Only carabaos age.” Visit his website and YouTube channel for more. Watch
