VIRAL: This Talented Girl with Down Syndrome as She Sings "All oF Me"

We are all given talents and ability but most of us don’t use it. We are either too busy or just plain uninterested to cultivate our hidden gifts. While most people don’t seem to bother with their talents, this special kid will show you the right thing to do!

When you hear the term ‘Down Syndrome’, what comes into your mind? Down syndrome is a genetic defect that affects over millions of people all over the globe. It affects their speech and capacity of thinking and responding, and also touches their physical body. That’s why most of us think they are incapable and incompetent due to their condition.

Unfortunately, though this may be true in some aspect, the society fails to see the other side of children who have Down syndrome, but this girl who happens to have the disease will open our eyes to what she can do!

This 12-yeard old girl is not afraid to show her talent to the world despite of her condition. Madison Tevlin has become an internet sensation when her video circulated the internet.

“All I wanna do is inspire!” She stated.

She sang John Legend’s All of me but because of some difficulty with her speech, she needs to use the standard vocal energy twice in order to speak well.  She does not sing perfectly, but what amazed the netizens is her passion and her emotions while singing. You can really feel how well she relates to the song, and that’s what made it more meaningful.

According to Down syndrome Education International, “Very few people with down syndrome will ever be able to sing.” Even stated in the video, Madison is truly defying statistical odds with her amazing talent.
