New Saudi King Gives Away $32 Billion Worth Of Gifts And Bonuses To Citizens

To celebrate his ascension to the throne, the newly crowned monarch, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia is giving away $32 billion worth of gifts and bonuses to his citizens.
This made the beneficiaries celebrate which include government, police, military and pensioners all of which are going to receive an amount equivalent to two-month pay. And according to Vice News, the king will also give grants to several literary clubs and professional associations.
He posted a message to his Twitter account after the announcement was made and it says that the people deserve more and that whatever he does, it will not be able to give them what they deserve.
The jubilant residents have already planned on what they’ll do to the money they are going to receive: some will buy gadgets, flat screen TVs, jewelry, and will go on holiday trips; others said that it will go to rents and traffic tickets or even for their second or third marriage!
King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud ascended to the throne after the death of his brother last month, King Abdullah.
