On the 23rd of June year 2008, Kayleigh Anne Freeman was born. Her parents were supposed to be delighted for the birth of their baby girl, but something extraordinary about the baby caught their attention.
She weighed roughly one pound which is barely enough to survive for a baby her age, however, Kayleigh defied the odds. After giving birth to her child, the mother and even the doctors were alarmed especially when Kayleigh’s weight was reduced to 13 ounces!
The baby fought her battle to live and soon enough the doctors have noticed how she grew more and more every day.
However, it seems as if Kayleigh’s battle isn’t over yet. The poor baby has gone over several major operations including Retinopathy and Gastrointestinal Exploratory surgery which fortunately turned out to be both successful.
