VIRAL : Pinoy Duo from Asia’s Got Talent Receives Standing Ovation from the Judges

Filipinos never fail to amaze the world. Pinoys excels in different categories such as sport, pageant, talent shows and technological inventions. Indeed, we have become renowned worldwide for these things.

Speaking of talent shows, another Pinoy duo has made a buzz in the news after receiving a standing ovation in Asia’s Got Talent. The judges were blown away with the collaboration of Moymoy Palaboy’s James Ronald and a vegetable vendor from Pasay City, Felicitas Garcia.

The 54-year old Pinay impressed the judges as she belted out a rendition of Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’. The panel of judges who are all well-known personalities like David Foster, Melanie C, Anggun and Vanness Wu were taken aback by the duo’s impressive performance.

The duo started when Ronald discovered Garcia in the internet and, impressed with her singing skills, the two eventually decided to team up together. What’s more amazing is the sincerity and bond between them.

As a matter of fact, at one point in their interview with the judges, Foster showed doubts in Ronald and asked Garcia if she would like to move on the next round alone. However, Garcia made a stand that she won’t leave her partner alone.

The two are expected to move on from the next round and compete for the title.
