WATCH: Showtime Family Meets Kalokalike of Da King Fernando Poe Jr.

On its third season, Showtime’s Kalokalike is still conquering the noontime television with its alluring celebrity lookalikes. Kalokalike Face 3 does not only bring us entertainment, it also relives the old days by reliving the old but gold artists and their legacy in the industry.

Who would forget Da King? Dubbed as one of the best action star in the industry, Fernando Poe Jr. is probably one of the most admired artists in Philippine cinema.  He died at 65 last 2004 due to stroke that left a lot of fans mourning for the loss of the star.

But in the February 7 episode of Kalokalike, Da King was personified when a contestant joined the segment. Roberto Garcia was the living embodiment of Fernando Poe! The 56-year old man from Brgy. Kaingin, Sta. Rosa Laguna is one of the most remarkable contenders in the season.

Most of the contestants copy young celebrities and it’s not every day that you’re going to meet an FPJ kalokalike that’s why Garcia captured the attention of the hosts and studio audience. If you’re a fan of Da King, you will surely notice how Garcia perfectly copied FPJ’s remarkable actions.

Even the show hosts were stunned with Garcia. One of the show hosts, Vice Ganda even remarked: “Ang mukha FPJ pero ang lakad Erap.”

When he was asked on what his message is for the showbiz industry, Garcia answered:

“Sa showbiz, nandyan yung pagsikat at pagbagsak. Ngayon, katulad ko, naging hari ako ng pelikula. Salamat sa inyo.”
