WATCH: Kokoi Baldo from Team Sarah Sings ‘Could You Be Loved’ in Live Show

ABC-CBN’s singing show The Voice Philippines 2 is still kicking from its premiere show last January as the Live Shows continue to recreate today’s music industry. The competition between the teams of Coach Lea, Sarah, Apl de Ap and Bamboo is getting bolder and tougher as the season arises and the audience will surely be asking for more.

In the 5th live performance that aired on February 7, one of the adored singers from Team Sarah gave a truly remarkable performance that made news in the internet. Once again, the ‘reggae singer’ Kokoi Baldo satisfied the judges and the people with a performance that gave him an advantage to the competition.

He sang the hit ‘Could You Be Loved’ by Bob Marley as a tribute to deceased star’s birthday. The judges were amazed and even Bamboo can’t help but to express his amazement towards the contestant.

As of this moment in the competition, Kokoi is one of the most-voted contestans from the show, even topping the text votes. People all over Boracay, his hometown are sending their love and support for the singer. Even the netizens say that Kokoi is probably the next grand winner.

 “Go kokoi. As you said music is unity. You're not in the Voice of the Philippines to compete but to spread the reggae genre. No need to prove to them that you are good in other style because you do have your own.”

What people loved about him is his powerful yet gentle voice. He doesn’t need to put much effort in his songs but you could still feel the emotions of his performance.
