VIRAL: Mom Hides Sleeping Baby in Backpack at NAIA

A baby is a gift from God, an angel that was given to everyone. Every child is special so that we have to take care of them as long as we can and to treat them special. But a mother from Manila hid her sleeping baby in her backpack to smuggle her two-month old child through immigration at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport or NAIA Terminal 1 in Paranaque City. The reports said that the mother went to the comfort room then hid the baby in the backpack. The mother was known as Jenifer Pavolaurea, a 25-year-old Papua New Guinean based from her passport. She said that she hid the baby because the baby did not have an immigration clearance from the Bureau of Immigration. Pavolaurea is a nursing graduate of University of Visayas and she gave birth to the baby last January. She is currently under the investigation of the Bureau of Immigration; she also attended the hearing on the immigration. Guerzon also stated that Pavolaurea was initially questioned by the immigration officer for overstaying alien before the baby was discovered inside the backpack. Now, Pavolaurea was eventually allowed to depart for Papua New Guinea. The airport authorities did not file any charges against Pavolaurea but instead turned over to a certain John Frederick Camariines.
