International singer Charice Pempengo captivated the audience as she performed the hit song Let It Go on ASAP last February 11. The singer belted out the theme song from the well-known Disney animation, Frozen. Her astounding performance left the people including her co-artists stunned as she showcased her vocal powers.

In the video from ABS-CBN’s YouTube channel, even Ms. Lea Salonga’s priceless reaction was caught on cam while watching the heart-felt performance! Charice’s emotions can really be felt through her song.

On the other hand, many netizens have speculated that Charice’s choice of song greatly reflects her current emotions. Some even claimed that she openly poured out her emotions about the controversy last 2013 that knocked her down. It can be remembered that the singer faced a crisis when she came out as a lesbian.

As the lyric of the song goes:

“I don’t care what they’re going to say. Let the storm rage on. The cold ever bothered me anyway.”

People are saying that it’s the singer’s way of saying how she doesn’t care about the opinion of others about her anymore and will just focus on her positive life with her family and partner, Alyssa Quijano.
