One of the most
unforgettable contestants is a man from Rosario, Batangas. The thirty-year old
Jeremy Luansing portrayed the well-known King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
By the time he
walked to the stage, his looks got the show hosts jokingly said that he somewhat
looks like Whitney Houston and Janet Jackson. Billy even remarked that he
resembles Jaya. His resemblance to Michael Jackson was quite undeniable though.
Luansing got
MJ’s posture, physique and even mastered his trademark dance moves. His outfit
also added to his charisma, he was wearing a sequined jacket and fitted pants
which Michael often wore in his performances. The madlang people seemed too mesmerized to react when he talked.
In his short
interview, he was asked by one of the show hosts Vica Ganda:
“It’s been five and a half years since you left us,
what is your message to the youth of today who continues to enjoy the legacy of
your music?”
MJ’s
impersonator got the crowd laughing with his hesitant answer. “I love you, I love all the children.”
For his talent,
he sang and danced to Michael Jackson’s hit single Billy Jean. However, some of the netizens who commented on his clip
in Youtube said that he lack the voice and appeal of the King of Pop.
