We all know what an animal like a lion would actually do if it sees a man approaching.
This man was Valentin Gruener, one of the co-founders of the Modisa Wildlife Project in Botswana, who eventually developed close bonds with some of the lions under his care, especially this lioness whom he raised ever since it was a cub.
And the said video was uploaded on YouTube by Jonathan Hawker in his channel J Hawk Daily last August 2014 with the title, “Just enjoying life with some terrifying lions,” and with the caption: “This is one of the best experiences of my life! I love animals so much, seeing this made me so happy.” And as of writing, the video garnered over 9 million views.
Hawker is also the one who filmed the amazing moment of the man and the lion cub. He is a teacher living in Seoul, South Korea, who was visiting the project.
