Is DongYan’s Wedding Cake IN For The Guinness Book Of World Record?

The so-called Wedding of the Year for 2014 or the Royal Wedding of the GMA’s Primetime King and Queen, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, also made it to the international headlines after their 12 feet tall, 120 kilograms, and adorned by Swarovski cake (also in 3D) was asked by UK’s Mirror whether it was the world’s biggest cake.

The cake was made by Goldilocks, a brand that is being endorsed by the groom and according to them it took them a month to make the cake.

The current holder of the title for the world’s biggest wedding cake was being held by Mohegan Sun Hotel and Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut, USA which it got last February 2004. It weighs 6.818 tons (15,032 lbs.) but was only used for presentation purposes unlike DongYan’s cake which was served to the guests in the wedding and took ten persons just to bring it to the venue.
If ever, DongYan’s cake will be the biggest wedding cake recorded for The Guinness Book of World Record.
