MUST-SEE: Poachers Use Poisoned Goats to Catch Leopard!

Poaching is defined as the illegal hunting or capturing of wild animals. For years, it has been banned across many countries and those who are caught will face certain punishment due to the threat of animal extinction. However, this latest video from India showed that poaching is still being practiced.
The video that was uploaded in Facebook by Newsbeat Social took place in Aravalli Hills, Gurogan. It shows a short clip of poachers’ new technique in catching leopards. In the report, it describes how these illegal hunters use poisoned goats for bait.
The leopard, which usually preys at night will attack the goats and will poison themselves in the process. This disturbing technique is proven successful in catching the fast-running leopards and the poor goats will make luring the leopards easier.
According to the report from Newsbeat Social, the number of leopards getting killed every year is rising at an alarming rate.
This video has stirred different reactions from the netizens. While most people are against the illegal act itself, some also have a different opinion. One Facebook user commented:
“In the town in India where the leopards are being hunted, it’s only fair. Do you know that leopards roam the streets there alongside dogs and chickens? They go as much as to enter domestic households and attack pets and babies and little children after dark. It’s a gruesome scenario.”
