WATCH: Terrifying Footage of a Snake Swallowing a Crocodile Alive!

In nature, there's  always two important elements, a prey and a predator. These two plays the vital role in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem. This video we got today will provide us an excellent example of how the prey and predator system works.

This frightening footage captured the amazing process of how a snake swallowed a little crocodile whole! At the first part of the video, the poor crocodile can be seen struggling from the tight grip of the snake, but his attempts to escape were unsuccessful.

The little crocodile has no power over the snake's reflexes. As soon as the snake got a hold of his head, he quickly acted upon his prey and continue to swallow him alive! But how can the snake fit such size in its small mouth?

Science has an explanation for this amazing phenomena. Snakes are gifted with special flexible muscles at the sides of their mouth, allowing them to accomodate preys 20 times bigger!
