Daniel Padilla’s version of “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” has finally been released by ABS-CBN Star Music last December 24 in their YouTube channel.
The official music video shows Daniel looking thorough several photos of him and Kathryn. It also includes a scene that was first shown in the teaser trailer of “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” which was released early this month.
According to Ms. Vina, she immediately sought to confirm to Director Rory Quintos, who directed the original and will also direct the remake, if her recording will really be used again.
The song "Pangako Sa 'Yo" was written by Rey Valera and was also recorded by Sharon Cuneta for a 1991 album featuring her renditions of the composer's hits.
