She was Martin Nievera’s
ex-wife, a mother of two, a singer,
entertainer, entrepreneur, TV host and
an actress – she is… Pops Fernandez!
Pops Fernandez or more
popularly known as the “Concert Queen” in the Philippine industry has now a
look-a-like in the name of Jenny Marcelo from Caloocan City.
The 29-year-old contestant
was game on the question of It’s Showtime hosts on what was her fondest memory
in ASAP, (ABS-CBN’s variety show which recently celebrated its 20th
anniversary where Pops was amongst the original hosts) telling them that it was
her co-hosts whom she misses the most, namely Dayanara Torres, Ariel Rivera and
her ex-husband Martin Nievera.
Meanwhile, on the talent
portion, she clearly proved that she has the acting prowess of Pops by acting a
few lines with Vhong Navarro and Karylle. But when the music of Lady Gaga’s
“Born This Way” started, she immediately sang the song to which Vice Ganda
reacted that she’s crazy.
