WATCH: Ara Mina and Brod Pete’s Kalokalike in Showtime!

You don’t need to go to concerts or pay huge amount of money to see your favourite artists. In one of the segment of ABS-CBN’s noontime show It’s Showtime, they will bring you the impersonator of your celebrities right next to your television!

The famous segment Kalokalike bore success from its previous seasons and is now making its third comeback in Kalokalike Face 3. It has received a lot of positive feedbacks and high ratings from the people who are very entertained with the show.

What makes it different from any other segments is that it features common people who look like celebrities. But looks are not enough; they should also have the charisma and appeal of the artist they are portraying in order to win.

One of the contestants who nailed it is Micah Espeleta, the so-called Ara Mina from Dasmariñas, Cavite. The energetic 20-year old wowed the audience with her big resemblance with the famous actress. She even got Ara Mina’s signature dimple! Even the show hosts Vice Ganda and Karylle were impressed with her white and pure complexion. As for her talent, Espeleta acted out a few lines first then proceeded to singing.

Meanwhile, her main contender is Armando Santos who portrayed the famous comedian Brod Pete. The 56-year old man from Binangonan, Rizal possesses Brod Pete’s physical appearance that was even emphasized by his favourite line “Amen!” He also brought a ukulele on stage for added impact which evidently worked out on the audience.

While being interviewed by the hosts, Santos also proved to have the wits and humour of the comedian. In the talent portion, he showed his amazing guitar abilities while singing.
